Do you have *any* information on this crash, happened in May 1955, possibly the 21st... (see picture below)
The crash site of the USAF C-47/C-53 was at the village called DEFTINGE and lies in district of LIERDE. This lies about 2 miles northwest of GERAARDSBERGEN which is the nearest town.
Geraadsbergen lies Southeast from Ghent and Southwest from Brussels.
